Don't let these pants go to WAIST!

I love the current printed pants trend. I bought the ATTITUDE Jay Manuel pants pictured above and ran into a common problem for women with curves. Often times a gap is formed at the back of the waist of the pants while the rest of the garment fits fine. Alternatively, wearing a pair of pants that fit well at the waist, means a look that is too tight across the backside.

The problem is proportions. For example a standard size 8 pant is made for a 27 inch waist and a 37 ½ inch bottom. But what if your waist is 27 inches but your bottom is 40 inches? Buy a 40-inch bottom pant (a size 10) and take in the waist. This will remove the gap in the back, while providing the right fit in the seat. So buy a printed pant, get it tailored, and be tantalizing!
